Pale Sapphire

  • Glass

  • Compressed elongated ovoid form

  • Transparent, pale, sapphire-blue glass with scattered, small air-bubbles; of compressed, elongated ovoid form with a slightly waisted, cylindrical neck, flat lip and recessed, convex oval foot surrounded by a protruding, flat, oval footrim; the narrow sides carved with mask and ring handles.
    Probably Imperial glassworks, Beijing.

Stopper

  • Tourmaline, carved with a coiled Chi Dragon; glass collar
